Join UCC Churches throughout Michigan who are collaborating with the organization RIP Medical Debt. This organization buys medical debt from the secondary debt market, then through Crowdsourcing efforts, eliminates the debt for pennies on the dollar.
For each dollar donated, $100 of medical debt is eliminated. Currently RIP Medical Debt has a total sum of Michigan medical debt of $4Million. Therefore, we are seeking to raise $40,000 to eliminate all of this debt for our Michigan neighbors. All donations are tax deductible and go directly to debt elimination.
